This beautiful gown is part of Romona Keveza's first collection and was the beginning of what would become known as  Legends Romona Keveza.  This gown was featured in the book "Legendary Brides" by Letitia Baldridge which "celebrates the timeless elegance and original style of the world's most unforgettable brides".  Here is a link to view the book:

This Romona Keveza gown is a timeless style and of sumptuous quality.   It felt beautiful to wear; its simplicity, perfect fit and gorgeous fabric made a stunning presentation.   It is a two piece gown including a fitted bodice and full ballroom skirt.  The bodice is made of duchess silk satin with full length silk organza sleeves.  The cuff on the sleeve is silk satin with buttons. The ballroom skirt is made of the same silk satin and has a chapel length train. The bodice zippers down the back, but has buttons covered in silk satin that give the illusion that the gown is buttoned down the back. There is not a sequin or a bead on the gown--it is timeless and elegant. I had a cathedral length veil made for the church ceremony, and I have a fingertip veil that I wore at the reception. Both are lined with a border of silk satin. I have the pearl headpiece designed by Romona Keveza as well. All accessories are available for purchase. The gown was ordered in a size 12. My street size at the time was a perfect 8. I actually contemplated keeping the top to wear with black velvet pants, but I couldnt bear to seperate the top from the beautiful skirt!
