Beautiful A-line ivory silk mikado gown with a unique lustrous quality and a superior, refined texture that is heavier than 100% silk to give the dress a crisp, luxurious flow. Subtle finishing touches including the exquisitely jeweled detail on the back and front bodice showcasing silver and clear crystals, and pearls, and is all hand-sewn on a background of intricately detailed embroidery. The back of the dress has a low, v-shaped back, which draws the eye downward toward the gorgeously detailed bustle, featuring three small appliques decorated with crystals and pearls that form a single line when the dress is bustled.
***The dress was worn once for an outside wedding. I spent a very short time on the sand for picture taking. The dress was bustled, so nothing touched the sand except for the front hem. It has approx. two inches of faint yellowing along the bottom edge in front where it absorbed the dampness. This did not come out during the dry cleaning and preservation process. If someone petite (I would say, 5'4" or less) has the dress hemmed in the front at least two inches, there would be no sign of the staining. The rest of the dress is flawless.***
