This dress is absolutely stunning. The fabric is silk-faced satin. It is a mermaid/trumpet silhouette, with beautiful tonal stone, pearl bead work and tiny hand-sewn fabric flowers along the draped bust line, front hem and back of the dress. The train is very long, with 5 loops added by a seamstress, for a french-style bustle. The dress was taken in slightly at the hips and waist, and hemmed a few inches. I am 5’5″ and wore 2″ heels.
It was perfect! I wore the dress for 6 hours before I changed into a shorter dress for dancing.
