2 in 1 wedding gown - Inbal Dror Couture 2019 collection

Check out the runway show of this dress:

This dress is definitely the star of the Inbal Dror 2019 couture collection.
The fabric has been designed by Inbal and hand made in her atelier. The perfect amount of sparkle without being "flashy". Everything was hand made. The dress took 12 months to arrive from the time of order. The 2019 collection is definitely one of her best collections and it is what is now being shown in bridal shops. As 2020 collection is still only available in trunk shows. I got the dress fairly early as I ordered during one of the first 2019 trunk shows.

The upper piece is a "bodysuit" design, it comes with a built-in skin tone high-waisted panty. I did not add any lining to the upper body because I wore a skin tone sticky bra underneath which concealed perfectly the nipples. And the hand-stitched glitters somehow "camouflaged" the sticky bra edges.

One stunning feature of the dress is the "medieval" sleeves with a Cersei Lannister vibe. Because there is a slit through the sleeves to above the elbow, the sleeves don't get in the way at all if you want to grab something. I kept the original length so the sleeves sweep the floor, but you can easily shorten it with a tailor.

The dress comes with 2 skirts.
- One simple line sheath skirt for reception with an open slit on one side which allows you to dance and move around freely without having to worry about tripping over. The model in the runway show wears one without any lining, but I have mine made with a flesh tone lining, so you need to show everything. However, it can be easily be removed if you want to be bold.

- One a line princess-like skirt for the ceremony and that wow factor. The shape is slightly more voluminous than an A-line gawn shape, but it is definitely ball gawn shape. Inbal Dror does not use hard structure, she uses instead layers of fabric to create volume. So it doesn't feel like you are wearing an umbrella and you can still move easily.

The dress was tailored to my measurements and my height with a 12cm (4 3/4 inch) heels. I am 164cm (or 5ft4). Both skirts have been shortened to floor length in the front but kept the original train and length in the back.

For references, my measurements are Waist 69cm(27inch), breast 84 (34inch), hips (37inch). The plunge neckline is ruched design so it can accommodate larger breast size. Because of the ruched design, you make the low-v plunge line higher if you prefer it to be less revealing. With a good tailor, the dress can be probably enlarged a few centimeters on the waist and on the hips.

The dress will be dry cleaned before being sent to the future bride.
