This Impression Couture Collection bridal gown is brand new with tags, and never been altered or worn. It is a shop sample, that has been tried on. There are no rips or tears, or any indication of having been tried.
It is a gorgeous silhouette! This is a super-flattering style that is comfortable to wear, with straps. This satin diamond white bridal gown is an asymetrical side-ruched wedding dress, fit and flaring into an a-line silhouette, with pick-ups in the skirt, a chapel length train, and a rhinestone and crystal embellishment at an empire wast that sites just perfectly under the bust. There are a couple of rosette features on this gown as well. It has a deep V neckline, and a slightly lower v back, for a classic but elegant look!
I love that this gown has a small elastic girdle inside (similar to that of a thick bra strap), to help keep the gown in place. The back of the gown zips up, but also has a row of sating buttons with loops from tailbone to top, to button up the back as well, for a more traditional and romantic style.
It is wrinkled in the pics as it is in our bridal storage. The skirt of this gown can be a fuller A-line, as the gown is less pouffy than it can be because of being stored. Our bridal storage is attached to the shop and is climate controlled.
Couture Collection is the Private Label of the Impression and Da Vinci bridal house.
The impression size chart indicates that the measurements of this size 6 bridal gown are; 34.5 inch bust, 27 inch waist, and 37 inch hips. Please keep in mind that ALL designer bridal gowns require altering, as they are made for very tall, very large-breasted women, and it's the alterations that give that million-dollar fit! Most people require a hem (as the gowns usually accommodate 5 foot 8 bodies or taller), and usually adjustments around the bust and straps and sleeves (if applicable), and a bustle. This is the case with all designer bridal gowns. This gown can easily be taken in about 2 sizes (made smaller) by a professional seamstress (and whether a gown is taken in 1/4 of an inch, or 2 inches, the cost should be the same), and can be let out a bit as well, as there is seams allowance on either side. Also, sometimes people choose to have a corset or lace-up back put in a gown as well.
So please keep in mind when buying a bridal gown, whether from a shop on-site or by a licensed designer retailer online, that they almost ALWAYS require altering for that million-dollar fit!
This gown is a floor model and has been tried on!
Congratulations on your engagement and thanks for looking!
