I bought this dress last year around March 2014, then went straight back to Japan. My husband picked it up from the store in May 2014 before he left for deployment. It's been in the closet since then. I just got back to the U.S. a few months ago and have only tried the dress on once, and since its unaltered, it's very long and actually quite big around my hip.
The reason that I am selling this dress is because I thought I wasn't going to have enough time to get it altered, since I couldn't come back to the U.S. Until a couple of months before the wedding, and the seamstress was not willing to alter it without me here and just by providing her my measurements online, so instead, I bought a custom made dress (few months before my return) in my size and height that didn't need any alternations, since I wasn't going to have the time for that.
I bought the dress from The dress theory Seattle. The dress is very beautiful with a beautiful train! It's basically the Tiffany of wedding dresses. Very simple and Classic. I believe this dress is now a little bit more expensive than it used to be and now retails for $1,200 brand new. The dress is also already bustled when I purchased it. I guess all Nicole Miller dresses are already bustled.
