Beautiful ivory Daphne gown by Modern Trousseau.
The Story:
I bought this dress because I was in love with it. It's adorable and different, but still very classy. I had every intention of wearing it, until we changed our wedding plans and decided to get married in the winter... up north. :) I'm one of those people who is always cold, so sadly, I've decided this lovely dress needs to find a new home!
Issues: While this is a new dress, I did wear it to fittings and I do not have the tags... silly me thinking I had my dream dress all figured out!!! I also noticed that some of the threading (single thread) along the sweetheart neck where the lace is sewn onto the white sheath underneath is coming undone. This could easily be fixed by a seamstress, but in my opinion is unnecessary. The lace lays flat on the dress due to the sleeves. The lace is sewn onto the dress in other places (the side seams, the back zipper seams) and the stitching here is very sturdy, and not a single thread like along the bodice.
